I am looking in to purchasing the silver Bullet extreme. It says to use HSS #43 drill bit. Will this work for stock bsa axels? I have read the hole might be to big. Our rules require us to use the stock bsa axels.

It works just fine with stock axles. My son and I just drilled his scout car with it and had no issues. Now keep in mind the diameter of the stock axles is not very consistent. If you end up with one that fits loose, just put a small drop of water in the axle hole. This causes the wood to swell and tightens up the hole without effecting the alignment.
