You forgot the things from Jo-Ann Fabric like the self healing cutting board, the rotary cutter, the material square.....

At least I haven't started stamping for my car designs.... that might be a bit much.

Bulldog is close with his cricut cutting machine. I was at the scout shop and saw they had specific cub scout cartages for that machine. Looked interesting.

EXACTLY ! ! ! !

Funny thing... in the basement, I have my benches set up... not 15 ft away, my wife has a lot of her sewing stuff... It is pretty easy for me to borrow what I need.... Then I end up getting to keep it. LOL

By the way, guys... these self healing cutting mats come in super handy for working on cars... They have a grid on them, for quick measurement or alignment, and they take an X-acto blade cut with no problem. I actually have two now, and it is much easier than just working on a bench or table top.

What do you guys think about reptile halogen lamps as a UV alternative? They emit heat and UVb, but nor UVa. I have a red ear slider turtle that I foolishly agreed to 4 years ago that now lives in a 55 gallon tank with about 45 gallons of water in it. Above the rock outcrop I arranged in her tank for basking I have 70watt halogen reptile lamps for UV and keeping her warm. I could have this turtle for another 30 years if I'm "lucky" I am going to borrow one of the clamp style lamps with bulb to see what I get for liquid glass cure this weekend.

Not understanding what makes wax cure or how long under a UV light is necessary to cure, I would be hesitant myself. I do know the LED UV lamps are not the same as the florescent, but I don not know the difference. With a halogen UV lamp, I would also be concerned, heat only being one of those.

I did recently purchase a UV nail curing thingy, but really don't know how long to leave a wheel in there. Fortunately, it does not get hot and it does not appear to degradate the wheels (at least, not for 20 minutes).

I'm a little late replying but thanks for sharing the video Skippy. I'm always looking for ways to step up my prep.

Skippy, don't listen to them, you the man!!! Great tip, can't wait to go to the wal mart and buy only one item and watch the clerks reaction!

A while back I called the local hardware store and asked for Jig-A-Loo lube. They hung up on me. I cracked up and could only imagine what they thought I was talking about.
