So with the new rules in the street rod class I believe the times are going to slow down drastically. So here's the question. What will the track record be? Maybe we can come up with a prize for the winner. So my guess is a 2.997. What is yours?
2.987? That's pretty fast! I believe it is possible though. There are some pretty stellar cars out there. I haven't been able to get those speeds out of mine but I still have some more tuning and design things to try.
I believe that at the Man of the mountain race the best time was put down by Stonecold. 2.960. So my thinking is the lighten wheels worth .025-.030. Then the body extenders another .010-.015. So if we go on the low end of .035 that puts the record around 2.995. Who knows? Keep the guesses coming.
Mine won't be ready for The CFC but when it's done it'll run in the 2.97's. /images/boards/smilies/biggrin.gif
I don't make that prediction lightly either. Ask the person who asked what the fastest Street Pro time would be last month. Who called it? /images/boards/smilies/smile.gif
I'll be building my new Street Stock "Apocalypse" at the same time. /images/boards/smilies/eek.gif
