well it looks like I will be sending in my sons car that we ran this year for the next race. it will not win but I will at least see how it does. I have already started to re-evaluate my wheel prep because that is where I feel the least comfortable right now. I will have more questions later I'm sure and I already spend way too much time on here reading older post as it is, but I would like to break the 2 second mark, just to feel like I'm competing.
so the car is a cub car, canted wheels, rail runner, should I pull a wheel and axle to verify that it meats the BASX rules. I do prep my wheels for the cub races but I don't have a clue as to how much they weigh. I don't modify the overall size of the wheel. one back wheel is glued in because the hole got a little big and I didn't like how easy the nail could pull out.
one other question as we know all scales are not made equal. If a car is to heavy or too light is there anything to be done since it is a proxy car? I didn't know how those things are handled.
Then the next question is Team Name?
M2/S2 Racing
Ramfifty Racing
any other Ideas
and THANK YOU to all the users of this board. Its really great to find a place to share my passion and not receive strange looks and smarta** remarks (well I KNOW the last two still happen here but not for the same reasons) just because I took a liking to something they didn't.
