My son won first place in his pack Cub Scout race. His brother’s car was the second fastest. I really appreciate everyone on here that offered advice and helped us out!

Was this your Pack? Or district? I didn't think our districts held races, I thought it was Pack, then straight to Council?

And thanks again for all of your help. I really appreciate it. I know you don’t need it, but good luck tomorrow. When and where are you guys racing?

We're racing at Providence United Methodist starting at 1:00. I'm in charge of the Derby so I'll have my hands full. We use the track of another Pack and last year it was as smooth as a country gravel road. My son's car (the one we ran at Council last year) was cleaning up during the prelims. I believe during the break a couple of Scouts bumped the track and knocked it out of line. During the finals his car jumped the track twice, damaging a wheel. We got it fixed but it wasn't the same after. I'm hoping with a little cleaning and close inspection from me we can get the track in better shape. So we're looking for redemption!

On a separate note of few of the Dads approached me about wanting to run a Dad's race (no prompting from me, I swear) and said hmmm, OK!

Here is my entry, crappy paint job and all (it's pretty fast though!):

Wow, that Tesla truck is awesome! I have no doubt that your son will get his redemption.

Is it just me, or is your wheel gap just a touch wide? ;) Good Luck
