After I came home with the router and explained I needed to make jigs to be consistent like Bulldog, she said we needed to start putting my hobby on the family budget.

"Just how many more things do you need to acquire before you are done?" Truthfully she has been very nice about my deeper dive into this hobby. Someone needs to put some guiderails around the rabbit hole.

I am in negotiations right now but trying to exclude one last big purchase (test track). I also am picking up a ton of overtime this month so that helps the argument; but only to a point.

Please send me honest feedback! I will make any changes necessary. I want to know that the tool is drilling proper for each one of you. In my testing if I use a hand drill put it on the slowest speed and take it in slow and easy. Make sure the wood is in snug.

OK stupid question but i guess if i dont ask i will not get an answer . How should i go about drilling the raised wheel with the Pro ??

You shouldn't need to raise that wheel as a good bend in DFW should lift it enough to clear track.
