I think Opa has this nailed. The RIDGID is so much better than the HF. The HF has enough internal vibration that it needs TLC to return screws to where they belong, etc., enough to be annoying. No question you can do a lot with it, I have a ton with it, but I WANT the RIDGID. The RIDGID replaces the HF and a spindle sander.
