Thanks man. Is that about 8ft x 3ft?Here's mine..

Mine is just a 2x4 frame with a good quality (one side sanded) 3/4" pywood on top.... sides are 1x4 pine, top cap is 1x3 pine... My surface over the graphic is a piece of plexiglass, but I would reccommend glass. Plexiglass scratches too easy... The side 1x4's stick up to the top of the plegiglass and the 1x3's hold the plexiglass into place. You can get a generic graphic at my site or you can get a cool NPWDRL graphic as a gift for racing 15 entries!

1-2inches of drift per 4ft?I don't think the texture messes up you tuning, it is just nice to have a smooth surface to listen to the wheels..... on a nice smooth surface you can hear any ticks from dirty wheels or wheels that may have a piece of plastic from machining that needs to be removed...
For league racing you can really tune better on a 6 ft. or 8 ft. table... for scouts you only need 4 ft.

One thing to remember, one day you will have to move it.
