Two time Pack, District, and Council Champion

My son had a repeat performance of last year. He won his district and then went on to win his council race. They use a 42ft BestTrack with a laser start gate and microwizard k3 timer (old chipset). There was a lot of head scratching in the room as the other boy's cars got progressively slower while my sons car got progressively faster. The times for his district race were 2.912, 2.909, 2.906. Times for the council race were 2.903, 2.899, 2.896. This was his last year in cub scouts so he was really happy and so were the other parents. Maybe I should've told them that my youngest son starts cub scouts next year. I guess they'll find out a year from now

. Our council was never really big on trophies for the boys, but it's not really about that right? We couldn't have done this without the help from all of you here. Thank you again for sharing your knowledge.

John was kind enough to send a coupon for a free entry into the Spring Fever race. I'm probably gonna send this car in to use as a baseline to see where I need to be so I don't embarrass myself too much if I decide to start league racing.
