Weighting from the top??

Is it ok to cut weight pockets from the top of the car? Using 1/4 cubes . 3/8 thick car. Approx 1/8 of wood underneath the cubes . Or is it best to cut from the bottom and have the weight flush with bottom of car. Or maybe hanging out the bottom alittle?

bottom is the way to go if ya can,the lower the COG the better,rock on brother!

you can install from the top if you want,but i would not leave them hanging because they may contact the stop section.
