What do you all want?

This is getting pretty frustrating. I understand things happen, packages get delayed, and start times can be effected, but this is becoming the norm.

At the very least we need some kind of real time updates from the crew actually running the event letting us know what is going on and what the projected start times will be. Is there any reason why we couldn't have a header on the NPWDRL live feed page that could be updated via John or Joel on their smartphone on the fly to let us know what is going on?

I am sitting in front of my computer for hours waiting for the race to start because I don't want to miss seeing my cars run, but have no idea when the race will actually start. So I am getting nothing done and wasting my precious little weekend time just starting at this damn screen.

Also, lets all send out our boxs 7 days before the race date. That should limit any package delays even if severe weather comes up.

I am not fond of the SS class being run all together. Would be much preferred to keep them separate.

Couldnt watch so how long till redults?

Ditto, had to help with my sons science project. It's killing me not to know. I got to see one of my cars times for two races and I had to break away.

If John does them right away could be within hours of the end of race. Otherwise tomorrow hopefully.

They are posted. Ugh, my car did terrible. Something must have been off. Oh well, there is always next race.

Ted, I just saw your posts. I understand your frustration. I have been on your side too. We will get better. League racing has never even been close to this big. Our monthly races are like the old once a year big races used to be. This is a great thing! Who wants to race the same 3 people every month?

One thing I have been kicking around is running the race and getting it all filmed and the videos all made and put together in a presentation format and then do a race broadcast. It would start on time and it would flow fast so nobody would have to sit all day waiting. The results would be kept private until the broadcast. No more live feed issues! The trick would be the live racers keeping their mouths shut.

The Street Stock classes running together is a simple fix if we could make a small software change that would schedule them separate but still group them together. Randy lisano will take no advice from league racers so that is probably out. I am going to play with the software some this month. March will be the best NPWDRL event ever held.

Everyone needs to think about one thing though. If it was your box that we were waiting on would you want to delay the race for a few hours? Let's keep this thing growing!
