I wanted to test out the speed of three different wheel bore/axle preps to see which is the fastest. Would this procedure work? Or is there a better way?
I would use 3 sets of 92X axles and 3 sets of the 2.3g wheels from John. They are all polished and prepped as close to as the same as possible.
1. Run the car, set the alignment, get times for combo #1.
2. Remove the rear wheels, but keep the FDW and axle in place to not change the alignment. Install new rear wheels with same gap as the first run.
3. Repeat step 2 with third set of rear wheels.
Will this tell me which is faster, or are there too many variables? Thx!
