Wiggle

Ran at MA yesterday. Boys car ran well but was getting frustrated. With about 10 left his car would develop a wiggle but only when it was in traffic. Any ideas what could be the cause. Had 2 ounces of weight behind rear axle and 2 right in front of rear axle. Could not having enough weight on the front axle be the cause. Any ideas would be great

Might need touch more steer. How much do you have

I was getting 4 inches in 4 foot. Did the same thing in only 2 runs at districts both of which were not even close races that's what has me so confused no traffic there

Little bit more steer would b my guess as all ready stated.

Yep and tighter gaps on the wheels.

Gap were pretty tight for having air reflectors in the wheels. I thought that could have been part of the problem after districts and they were a little wide

Remember not to get too hung up on a certain number for steer. 4" over 4' is generally a safe number, but it's really only a starting point.

Every car is different. If my gaps are good and my car still wants 12" of steer, that's fine by me as long as the speed is there.
