(micro vibration detail)
-uniform design
-reusable
-surface detail textured to achieve the right balance between laminar and turbulent flow
-lightweight
-aesthetically pleasing to the eye
-durable
-interchangeable from front to rear
-most efficient aerodynamic design- lab tested
-will never rot
-major time saver
-no nasty dust from sanding
-wont absorb moisture or warp/split
-will not give the user splinters
-easy to spot if dropped on the shop floor due to bright colors
The Eccentric said:- a Richter scale meter attached to track
- have track floating in stagnant water and observe the ripples after each run
Never tried these methods nor do I know anyone who has- just brainstorming and it does seem like a lot of work just for the sake of reducing MVD'

Falcon777 said:What fender designs are the top NPWDRL racers using - EVO balsa, Gee, Pine, etc. Thanks!
1st, how can you even compare them to EVO fenders? The balsa fenders sold do not come with the relief cut out so instantly they are killing half the scout dads that buy them. I am also pretty certain that they dont end up lighter than the GEE. The balsa fenders take MASSIVE amounts of time to create and a fraction of a second to break. Time = $. I can't believe people are still trying to argue Nelli faye fenders also. /images/boards/smilies/nono.gifcycrunner said:What makes GEE so much better?
