    need ideas on Best Track stop section safety "chute"

    There is some stuff that is made to spray on the bottom of throw rugs to keep them from sliding around. It is called "Perfomix Super Grip." Wipe the stop section first with a Clorox disinfectant wipe and then spray on the Super Grip. Let it dry a few hours before you run a car on it. Works...

    Just a suggestion: A cover to go over the top to keep the dust out.

    If you go to "You Tube" and search for "White Mountain Jigaloo" you will see John testing out a trick his brother (White Mountain) told him about. It sped him up by over a hundredth. This was 3 years ago so I don't know if the secret is still lurking out there or not.

    FWIW - heat one basx

    The DFW should be canted just the opposite of the rear wheels. The rear wheels run on the inside edge of the wheel. The DFW should run on the outside edge of the wheel. There were a couple of cars that had the DFW canted the same as the rear wheels. (running on the inside edge of the wheel)

    BASX Rules Clarification

    I would like to comment on the can of worms that the basic class has turned into. When the Basix class first started someone complained that the more experienced racers were entering that class. My comment on this was that the class was not necessarily for beginners but was an "economy"...

    Axle holes a bit loose...how to snug up?

    Dental floss has always worked for me. Put a short piece on the bottom side of the hole. This won't mess up your alignment.

    Oh-no, wrong Q-tips...which to use?

    I have three different brands that I use. Wal-Mart brand seem to be the smallest. Q-Tip brand are medium. Walgreen's brand are the largest. The right size will turn without too much resistance and produce a slight squeak when polishing the bore.
