    krylon primer with sanding in between coats can be made to shine before color coats. Wet/dry 3200 grit will polish it nicely.

    I think the body style issue would sort itself out after some races were run just as in the real world. The plus for us scale lovers is that we get to build our favorite car and see if we can engineer it to compete under the other existing rules win or lose.
