What would be a decent time on 35' track?we had our race a few weeks ago and both my sons did very well. The 1st place car ran 2.40 average for 4 laps and the other car took 3rd with 2.42 average..

slingblade said:Funny memory about this subject... Years ago I asked the same question... For those of you who were also around ... And guess who answered mine...... FATBOY racing ! And Carolina! It all comes around I guess!
Need4speed said:Well the track looks like it was built by Fred flintstone. From the info so far it leads me to believe that the track may be a few feet shorter than 35'. One of the men that puts the track up said it was 35' I think he needs a new tape measure. Thanks for the info.. Next year I will measure it myself.

I remember some early post of yours...5 kids too... and W before he had his website
I've been out for a couple years but now my youngest son is in scouts so I'm gearing back up... still like keeping up with whats going on though

Totally remember those cars. The old graphite days were a blast. Here are a few racers that will bring back some memories:
Fatboy
Burpin Chunks
Acme
W Racing
There were more. Sling did you use to do the grindhouse cars as well?
