I don't have a teat track and I know many on here don’t make 4 wheel rail rider so please help with what you can.
How many inches of steer do you recommend on a 4 wheel rail rider over 4’?
I’m going to pack as weight toward the back as possible with an aggressive cog. The car is 1/4” thick with The rear axle at 5/8 inch and standard BAS axels 4 3/8”.
Again looking for suggestions for inches of steer over 4’.

We ran pretty much the same steer whether it was three or four touching, about 5" over 4' on our pack's wood track. It was old but pretty smooth and the track joints were properly tapered. I think it's important to consider the track you will be racing on though. if it has rough track joints you might not go super aggressive on the COG or dial in too much steer so it won't catch a joint and pop the nose up? If it's rough then maybe go 7/8-3/4" COG and 4" in 4'?
