Even with perfectly drilled holes alignment is usually a little sketchy due to a tapered, threaded screw being used for the axle. This method should allow for fine tune adjustments to be made. I used a 3/8" forstner for the weight and the dowel holes. Cut the dowel in half and in the ends opposite the wheel drill a small hole at a 90* and insert/press in a bushing that a small pin can be inserted to move forward or backward. The dowel should be a tight fit in the hole. Drill on the Silver Bullet. I'm using alignment marks on the dowel end and the body for reference. Now when tuning toe in/out can be adjusted by inserting the pin in the bushing and slightly moving one way or the other. The camber angle will not be affected enough to make a difference. When tuning is done a dab of glue can be placed, I wrapped one layer of clear scotch tape around the dowel, seems to help the dowel be adjusted in smaller increments. My cat digs the PWD and chills out with the cars like they're birds she brought home for me, she watches me for hours when I build.
