Somewhere I have seen someone add material to the rear of the car instead of shaving the body at the DFW. Wouldn't adding 1/16" at the rear accomplish the same thing as shaving the front?

Is it needed to meet rule requirements? It should be better than leaving them equal bit not as good as narrowing the front.

Yes it would accomplish the same thing, but in my experience moving out the rears scrubs off speed.

I think if you put a good amount of bend in the DFW and with the rears canted you don't even need to cut back the DFW body side. The positive cant on the DFW and the negative cant on the rears naturally makes the rear wheel behind the DFW stay off the rail. You rears will not be centered on the rail, but I think they will be off the rail.

This is true right? Anybody else agree?

I havent had to narrow a front in a long time, in fact I more often have to space it out to get the rear of the car centered on the rail.

With a 7 degree+ bend and the rears canted, I don't remove anything on the DFW side anymore.

1001 I didn't even see that

+1 to Owens and Quicktime

I have still been cutting it back, but I agree I don't think it is needed with the amount of cant we put on the DFW these days....

FYI... one more post for 1000 Quicktime. It's like a NPWDRL birthday.. lol...
