We built a thin 5 oz. Rail runner with stock weight BSA wheels only one wheel canted the steer wheel. It had run a 2.993 fastest time on a 42 ft track. I decided to add fenders.....so I go to carving out weight in the middle and front to adjust for that weight difference. While I was at it.....I carved out the rest of the middle to be more aggressive with my COG adding more weight to the rear. My COG seems to be just in front of the rear wheel. If I knew how I'd post a picture.....not sure I have a question. ..just looking for advice. What are the odds I screwed our times up? Any suggestions from pros. Is greatly appreciated. We love this stuff!

Be sure to cover your hole with tape. some replace the wood with light weight foam for filler before tape.

Pics will really help. To post a pic you'll need to host them with a site like photobucket and then use the direct link url. Click the insert photo button (the little tree next to the film strip) and paste the url into the window. I hope this helps.

I'm learning. ....plz bear with me. Posted a link....not sure if it's right but......The center has been carved out smoother with a Dremmel. My son has the cars so i can't get the latest picture version.....

Any suggestions for lightweight filler.....I'll have to carve more....I'm already in the 141gram area. Like i said...I've smoothed the hole more than the pictures show. Thanks for the compliments! I've prepared another car but not WORRIED about it.

Thanks Thunder...my paint jobs are pretty basic. We have a vinyl business so mine are all stickers besides the paint.
