So it's almost race time for us again, about a month away, and i got our wheels and axles and I'm wondering what kind of tolerances we should be ending up with. I measured the axle about 0.09 and the wheels are close to 0.11.(even took wheels off last year car and around the same) I tried to search for some info on what is a good start didn't really come up with anything. They just seem to have too much wobble I think maybe I'm wrong, I'm still overwhelmed at how much work can go into such a small car.

Wow! Those are some large wheel bores at .110". Is that a BSA wheel and what are you using to determine bore diameter? Typically you can expect to see wheel bore diameters in the mid to upper 90's range.

I can't remember exactly where they said the wheels come from but they're the rounded royal racers type. I put a picture on a post last year about them. I used a caliper to measure it only had hundredths but the axles polished were just a hair over 0.09 and the wheel was right at 0.11 and checked with a drill bit can't remember the size. I was thinking maybe around 0.005 bigger would be better but I'm estimating closer to 020 bigger
