My son and I are building his car for his derby in February. I am also thinking of building another to send in to the NPWDRL. The last 3 years I have built the cars with canted rears and the bent front axle. I have a block that was drilled by DD4H with the drilled reverse cant in the front I got last year but didn't use. Is there any advantage speed wise one way or the other? I don't have access to a track before the race but I do have a tuning board. I know you can probably do more fine tuning with the bent axle. I've had good luck going the bent axle route but I am curious to see how the drilled block will work. Thanks for any input.
