Canted wheels distance from body?

I purchased a DD4H Dynasty Plug N Play Build-A-Kit with the following mods.
Legend Style (Thin Wedge), Standard Axle Placement, 4 Wheel Touching Cant Setup
Axle Slots/Holes: Slots (Drilled hole with dummy slot)

I've never worked with a cant setup before so I want to get it right. My questions is, when I put the axles & wheels on it what should the distance be between the body and the wheels and what should I be looking out for so I do not screw it up.

Also, if anyone has pics of a Cant set up for a reference for me to use, that would be great.

Gap with credit card, and cut out notch to go around the axle

On the forum go down to the "Pinewood derby vendors" and open that then scroll down until you see "Wheel Gap Gauges" Click on that. PM him to see if he is still making them and they are pretty nice. /images/boards/smilies/thumb.gif

I checked on the wheel gap gauges and PM'ed him to see if he still has them.

He had the following gauges listed, which gap distance should be used for the best results?

The set includes the following gauges:

.005 (blue)

.010 (brown)

.015 (pink)

.020 (yellow)

.025 (white)

.030 (orange)

In my opinion, 0.015 is about right.
