most racing SP are using the intimidators....which I believe are even lighter than the litespeeds....I know the website says .9 to 1 gram for intimidators and 1 gram for litespeeds but the intimidators have more material also shaved off on the outer surface and flattened out and those fluting marks are removed, unlike the litespeeds where for the most part the outerwheel face is standard....
Id think if you had a car with litespeeds versus the other cars with intimidators....assuming all else being equal, the intimidators would win everytime...but that is just a educated guess as ive never run the litespeeds....
perhaps someone else that has run both wheels can comment as well...
or you could just send a test car in to see how they perform... I know I have sent a car or two in the past using a "different" set from typical to see what they would do....or if your pack has an outlaw category you can use it for that!
im the type that hates wasting stuff so ill use whatever wheels or axels I have in some shape or form LOL...this year we made outlaw cars for the family to use up some older wheel sets and axels....didn't win them all but still it was fun for my wife and daughter to decorate the cars and name em and watch them run and talk with the other families!
