Heads up

John, I am glad that you are doing as well as you are. I will keep you in my prayers that your recovery is swift. Also I don't live too far away so if you need anything don't hesitate to ask.

As far as I am considered, I think you should take a week off John !!

...SPIRIT.... Take care of yourself John, we can wait to your up to speed.

Your welcome Jon. Thanks for the nice words guys, I didnt do much. When derby Mom calls in a panic I was scared to death. At my work in Oct 2013 we had a gal roll her car and killed her instantly, then in Jan 2014 the office gal that took her spot rolled her truck and threw her out, Broke almost every bone in her body. We only have 2 gals in the office. Were batting 1000. When Derby mom called me, it scared the HELL out of me. Jon and her work so hard and never ask for anything I had to force things on her and it wasnt much. Maybe Im the common denominator here. You boys better stay clear of me. Slow down your cars a little at next months race you never know what can happen if your to close to me.

John, you're the driven type. Slow down dude, take it easy and I mean easy. Take the time to heal now so you won't HAVE to take the time later. Take it from a guy whose been in lots of accidents. When I was a lot younger they used to call me Skinser because I was always getting hurt from some accident. Take it easy!!!

Good to hear everyone fine! I hope you have a speedy recovery!! Its funny how perspective changes! Take Care!!

Have to agree with the others. Take it easy and don't over do it.

We are having some Midwest style downpours out here in California today and we had to check in a car for a council "impound" race for this Saturday. It was a scary drive over and back with the idiots on the road. One guy was doing 40 in the fast lane during the commute and people were passing him in the slow lanes and in the carpool lane. And other people were doing 80 like it was sunny and nice. And on the bridge I could feel my car hydroplaning not even doing 60mph and people were flying around and jockeying for position like nuts.

I like the weather where I live but everything else not so much. Plus too darn many people.

Just an update, the pain I was feeling yesterday really had me thinking bad things were coming. I went to the ER and they worked me over good and all internal organs are good to go. I just have some damage to my sternum and a rib. I truly feared I was in bad shape and something was broken inside. I was struggling mentally terribly. After they cleared me last night and got me some pain killers I slept hard. I woke up this morning with a new zest for life. I have no problem dealing with physical pain but this was my first experience going through a mental breakdown. Bottom line is DD4H is back and better than ever! God saved me and I will live from here out remember that gift. Thank you all for your support.

Good to hear the news!!! Looks like you dont need any armor plating after all...

Oh man, Glad to hear everyone is ok and that you got checked out throughly. That 48 to 72 hr after an accident can be difficult. (coming down from the adreniline and realizations) Our prayers are with you.
