Hi, I saw this method for rounding wheel bores on another forum and was wondering if this is a good method to use or not. I know the people on this board are the best in the country, so I figure you guys would know if this is worth doing.
Thanks in advance
"Find the closest pin gage that will not fit in the bore of your wheels > You need a slightly larger pin gage than the bore diameter.
Put your wheels in hot water. "Hot" means what your hot water heater delivers to your faucet.
Put the pin gage in a pin vise. Put the pin vise and pin gage in ice water.
Pull pin vise/pin gage out of ice water and apply Novus #2. Quickly put pin into wheel which was just pulled out of hot water.
Let bore collapse onto pin gage. Turn pin gage in wheel bore for about 10 to 20 seconds.
Remove pin gage while you are still turning pin vise/gage.
Wash out Novus #2 and blow out with air. Next > Use Q-tip with Novus #2. You know the rest of the story.
You will find speed..... "
Thanks in advance
