Chief-

I read this post the same day you posted.... Thanks ... I am not in a position to buy a case of jig off Ebay... So I am cool with that .. I am sure one day it will return to the shelves.....

I did not do my homework to contact the rep as I was hoping it would hit shelves already... I will make contact with them as your email shows minimum 2 cans and see if they can ship my way...

Guess it is back to the R&D side for this ..

Again Chief ... Thanks

I just got off the phone with the rep from Jig A Loo and he told me that they have had numerous complaints about not being able to buy the stuff in the USA. He also told me that they were working very hard to get the product back into the US market but it would take at least 6 months or so...Anyway, the good news is that they are making it and it wiil again be avilable in the near future. WOO HOO!!!

Product is readily available from Canada. My brother lives close enough to the U.S./Canadian border that he can get as many as I'd like. I'd have to get back to him on the cost per can plus s/h. This would be for the large cans. I can ask if the smaller cans are available.

thanx for the help guys i found one can at an old mom and pops ace store 10.9oz $6.99 pops told me he will try and get more.

I special order mine from Ace like Opa. Takes less than a week to arrive.

Both work... The DuPont is a safe and fast product.. People use Jig a loo also, it is fast. The thing with Jig a loo is that it can ruin a set of wheels if you do not apply it properly. Jig must dry completely on the axles. There has been many threads presented on this axle alternative in relation to the DVD. Most pro's today are using Jig a loo but supplies are running out and I think the manufacture of the lubricant is not selling it anymore.. So that means pros will start moving back to the dupont or discover something new.

I was concerned after I read in another thread that DuPont changed the formula. Spent $20 on the DuPont and did not want to hear I wasted my money. I will search locally for the jig, and keep or run the DuPont as a backup or of I can't find the jig.

ted bull,
i'm new here my first car coming for april race, after reading many post on this forum seams to me you have to try everything i also have dd's video on oil,and got the dupont but also want to try jig and a couple of other products to find out what works best for me.building pine cars is a never ending R&D for the next speed gain (which after watching the march race I have alot of work to do
hmmm
)
I'm very excited to mix it up with the first timers that are coming to there first race,maybe find someone close to my own building skills and create a rivalry with that racer(s) that will make it a challange in side a challange ! Gravity X. seems to be a fairly new racer here with alot of determination I really like his attitude and think he is going to do well maby chasing him would be a good start....
