I was wondering what is legal in the Street Stock class. Is canting allowed or rail running? After reading a lot of posts and getting little to no sleep I seen a post on a straight running car not being that good due to the fact that it bounces off of the rail and wobbles( I hope that came out right), or is that part of the challenge to this class? One more newbie question, is graphite allowed until I can get DD4H wheel and axle polish?/images/boards/smilies/confused.gif

Thanks.

This changes everything for me now. I am thankful I haven't started my car yet. Thank you.

I have never raced in it, but yes, yes, and yes.

Thanks for the info. I always wanted to build a rail runner but never had the time needed for tuning or the tools to do it. Looks like I will be visiting DD4H site for the block and axles.

DEW36, to get started you will want to build:

Railrunner
3 wheel down
1 front wheel lifted
Rears canted negative (bottom out)
Dominate Front (steer wheel) positive (bottom in)
Extended wheelbase
Oil

Thanks. I will check them and see what they weigh. I will have to use them until I can get some Cheetahs. I am fairly decent with my prep using graphite, but I never tried oil before. I am just excited to get my car built and see what happens.

Assuming your are up to date on wheel and axle prep:
Wheel size and weight are ultra important.
Legal weight is now 2.0 grams. Weigh the wheels you currently have, if they are 2.2 or higher, that means slower.
