Never force axles!

Just a HUGE reminder and tip for the new builders. If you are pushing your axles into the car and it requires a lot of force STOP!! Relax the holes so the axles can be inserted and removed by hand. If not you will break wheels trying to remove them.

I will SECOND that....I have experienced this personally(breaking a wheel), especially with the new wheels or the Street Pro wheels.

Use an old axle and insert it several times until its tight enough to hold in place, but not so tight that you need a lot of force to put it in/take it out. DON'T use the axles that you are running on your car. If the hole is tight, then you can even bend the axle at the groove and that will kill your times(done that too).

Yeah I just learned the hard way last night while prepping for tomorrow. Live and learn. : ( Thanks for all the help John and DNA.

My axle holes are drilled with a #43 drill. The 91 SGA's I plan on using are so tight the ends of the axles barely go into the holes. What are the options to relax the holes some.

i have used a bsa axle to relax the holes for the 93's, but i now just use a random 91 or 93 thats handy. just go slow and rotate as your pushing it in, use a axle pliers if you have them. i usualy insert and pull out about 4 times and that usualy does it.
