My new BASX car Nilon Hoze. If it runs well during testing I will be sending it to the March race.

I know everyone will be wondering about the name. It is a pun on Nylon hose. Nilon Hoze was a female vilian in the old Dick Tracy comic strips. I liked the name and put it on my BASX car.

Glad you explained, I was thinking more like "Silence of the Lambs" and you liked wearing nylon hose /images/boards/smilies/smile.gif

I love it man. I like the wheel weights, I do see other weights that only come up about half way, is this to keep the weight low?

Also allows for inspection of the inside of the wheel with the clear shields on top. They were aimed more for cub racing where the wheel needs to be inspected without removal.

My car has the old style tungsten wheel weights. With these wheel weights I found it hard to get the wheel gaps set. There is no way to slide a wheel gap tool between the body and the inner hub of the wheel, so I had to set the gaps by feel.

With the Cubby wheel weights I believe there is a slot in them so you can get a gap gauge between the wheel hub and the body. The lead wheel weights that DD4H is selling, I believe they have some stand-offs built into them, so it should be easier to set wheel gaps.
