I like the self adhesive vinyl idea I'm gonna have to look into that! Looks good!

I'm really impressed with the vinyl, although it may be a heavier weight than some racers might prefer. This car vinyl was, if my math and memory are correct, about 3/4 of a gram.

The only annoyance I had was the quality of the print job, but that's my cheap $99 ink jet....

Also, since it's printed by an ink jet, don't get it wet!

Mind if I ask where you get the self adhesive Printable vinyl? Do you have to use an ink jet or will other printer types work on it?

Did you have any luck with the monokote? I purchased some but am having trouble installing it

I got it on Amazon, but I'll have to look it up, I don't see it in my history so it must have been a while ago.

Yes, you must use an ink jet according to the instructions, I guess a laser printer would melt the vinyl.

With the self adhesive monokote, yes! I've done that and it works well. Works about the same as the vinyl, but I think it's a tad lighter weight. I think I used these Trim Sheets:

Never tried using the stuff that requires heat to bond to the surface though.

That might be my problem. I bought the stuff that requires heat to apply. I tried the wife's iron but never got it right
