Is this the right stuff for coating the axles when using oil?

It's not available anymore. I believe you can still get in canada. Watch sites like ebay or amazon for left over supplies. I think space walker pinewood derby has some for sale. I've tried other silicon products and you have to use two or three coats of the other silicons. There must be some alternatives out there.

I just found some on Amazon and ordered all 3 cans the seller had. There was some on ebay, but it was about $25.00 for a 3oz. can. I didnt think this was all that bad, considering it seems hard to find. Now, we will see if it actually shows up and is the right stuff... Thanks for the help guys!

Guys I can get jig-a-loo at a local store here in WV for around 3 or 4 dollars a can. If anybody wants some I can get it for them and mail it out if you want. Let me know in a PM.

ZZ,You might check with the USPS before you mail Jig.I think it has to be shipped ground only.I might be wrong, but I don't want you to get in trouble.

Newbie question, what makes this stuff so good?
Surely there must be an alternative product seeing how Jig-A-Loo is apparently on the hard to get list.

Yes it does need to be shipped ground only thanks for the heads up.

What are the alternatives? Ive seen on other sites some use Pledge, and when you look at the MSDS sheet it has some of the same properties (propane and Isobutane) but the other main properties are quite different
