How do you guys fasten the tungsten cubes that allow you to use them for your next build? I have 2 scouts and this is the third set of cars we are building this year and I'd like to be able to reuse.
Great suggestion. I'm going to give it a shot!I'm going to move over to the tape, but I have used 30 minute epoxy before. If you need to get them out lay a hot soldering iron on them for about 10 seconds and they'll pop right out.
Good point! Chances are though we wont be using that car again. District race was really rough and I'm concerned it tweaked the fragile wood. Headed to nationals and will build freshies.Just be careful with a hot iron. Extreme heat can cause warps in wood. Plus that’s right at the rear axle holes.
For they guys using the 3M VHB tape, can you share a part number? There are so many to choose from! Who knew?
