Silver Bullet vs Goat Boy Drill Fixture ?

Goat boy tool is good for scouts ..silver bullet is good for league racing

Just so you know, the straight holes in the GB fixture were used to drill the 2012 Unlimited National Champion car and most recently the 2014 Mid-America champion(Unlimited) was also drilled with the GB fixture. Not bad for just some "scout" cars!

The negativity effect is the tendency of people, when evaluating the causes of the behaviors of a person they dislike, to attribute their positive behaviors to the environment and their negative behaviors to the person's inherent nature. The negativity effect is the inverse of the positivity effect, which is found when people evaluate the causes of the behaviors of a person they like.

I caught zero logic in all that. And that last bit? Pure gibberish.

I'm so CONFUSED!!!
lol

The term negativity effect also refers to the tendency of some people to assign more weight to negative information in descriptions of others. Research has shown that the negativity effect in this sense is quite common, especially with younger people; older adults[sup][quantify][/sup], however, display less of this tendency and more of the opposite tendency (the positivity effect).[sup][[/sup]

Hi Nick,

I see that you like that actor.

No Country for Old Men certainly cannot stand up to his incomparable performance in Kingpin!

I'm still working on drilling with the block but the Goat Boy tool has helped to make up for my lack of talent.
2.984 with the GB tool! Should be faster this month if I my prep holds up to the USPS.

Just received his axel bending tool recently too. This tool was much more heavy duty that I had envisioned.

Don't think the good for scouts thing is a negative. It is just that idiot proof. Yes I can see troubles if someone already has a car cut out and shaped but that is true for the SB too. To get it in snug you can just use paper or tape. Using a pin vice or a hand drill at a slow speed works pretty easy.

Only negative is it will only work with 1 drill bit size. I tried out some stock BSA axles in a #43 hole and it is a tad too loose but adding a little water should tighten it back up to make it work for all scouts.

Does anyone know where/when I can get the Goat boy tool? I would love to get a head start of the cub cars this year.

Thanks.

Try contacting Ian (Goatboy) He usually makes a few at a time. I don't know if he has any but I'm sure he will put you on a list for his next run of them.

I tried sending you a Pm Goatboy but it's not showing in my sent messages so I'm not sure if you got it or not. I'm interested in buying one of your drill fixtures if you have any for sale. Thanks
