I'm not exactly positive on what I'm seeing. What happened? A shot just a bit further back would help.

What in the world happened here?
I already went ahead and fixed it with epoxy using the steps I outlined above. I'm pretty comfortable with epoxy (as well as duct tape and bailing wire), but not so much with CA. I think the repairs went well, because the car has posted some pretty good times post fixin'. You might not know this about me, but I invented the term "Fill and Drill". The right type of epoxy is the key.You might be able to use the CA / baking soda trick to salvage it if you think you can redrill.

Per 5kids' style, Kinser.

Thank you GravityX. I'm about to drop a chunk with MC for misc tooling to substitute for my lack of brains and skill. You can get some of those reamers here. Just select the size you want in the left hand column to reduce the amount of choices.
Thank you for the suggestion, Dr.T. Unfortunately the wood putty that I have available here does not provide structural confidence. It gets pretty crumbly. Is there a brand I should look at? For now, I like the range of properties I have available with the various epoxies on hand (Plastic-weld, Devcon F, Devcon A, Steelbed, Marine-Tex etc.)When I have had some cracking like that I will put a small amount of wood putty over the area.
