Time To Retire A Set Of Wheels

After a season and half of racing and numerous abuses with test preps and products. I believe my first set of Cheetahs are coming to an end. The bores have been abused and scratched. April will be their last league race, goodbye Ole' Friends you have served me well. Looking forward to a fresh pair of shoes....fire up the lathe Godfather. I'll be placing an order by weeks end!

Well just finished my prep for April.....

. I broke my golden rule and tested some stuff on my race wheels last week. The results were not good, did a little more damage to my bores. Just finalized my order for my new wheels. Heading back to the bat cave to see if I salvage my work horses for next weeks race.

I know it's not recommended but last year I scratched my bores and did a light repolish with polish 1. It did seem to help along with 2 or 3 coats of legend.
