Would anyone have any interest in a solid tungsten weight 1/4 inch thick, 1/2 inch wide, and 1.5 inches in length? This would be equivalent of 2 rows of 6 cubes, but in a solid piece.
I've requested a quote from a tungsten supplier, and I'm curious if anyone would have any interest. Thanks.

Possibly ....it depends on the final cost and what it actually weighs? I have heard that the tungsten can vary and I have seen the cubes vary some. I don't know if the cubes are a density difference or a size difference as I have not actually measured them to determine which it is.

I'm curious to hear what the quote is. Typically, you will need to buy a large quantity for special sizes.
Another thought, is that the size you mention has a very limited application. You would only be able to use it behind the axle on most cars. If you were to use them behind and in front of the rear axle, you won't have many options for adjusting the balance of your cars. (or you will be over weight)

I tired to buy 1/4 cubes from China. These suppliers needed to set up tooling to make the cubes. The cost of the tooling made the overall cost not worth it.

If you can find a supplier that has tooling to make the 1/4 cubes than it would be worth buying a large amount of cubes.

I got a quote recently for .25x.5x1.5 plates, the equivalent of 12 cubes. Think it was about $17 per piece.

That would be dimensionally 10 cubes. Did they have a minimum order quantity?

I'm expecting to pay something seemingly insane to some, but for those who must purchase wheels from a vendor (insert plug for DD4H wheels here), this is a drop in the bucket. I can cut small stock tungsten, but ripping the existing plates has proved to be VERY challenging due to their small size.
