Super cool! Thanks for sharing. I've always thought it would be cool to develop some type of zip line for a camera on the league races. It would make for some cool highlight videos.
Well done.
Well done.

Kinser, can you send Wayne one of your BASX cars to test with? /images/boards/smilies/wink.gif /images/boards/smilies/wink.gif /images/boards/smilies/wink.gif

Kinser, please send TWO Basx cars, so we can use one to mount the camera on... /images/boards/smilies/wink.gif
Make it optically clear over the sensor.BulldogRacing said:Th camera car would trip the timer.
It's a moot point. The camera is intended to see what the car is doing while running. Gathering time data is another issue.BulldogRacing said:Th[e] camera car would trip the timer.

Later v2.0 included more weight to allow the care to overcome it's poor aerodynamics to keep up with the other cars being filmed. I'll have to look for photo's of the car with cam mounted.

Mine came with a holder that was equipped with a standard 1/4"-20 mounting stud that allowed me to bolt it to the car and rotate it on the screw as needed.
