New Items THE FASTEST WHEELS AVAILABLE!!!!!

No need for anyone to place any orders. Mine will keep John busy for a month. The Mrs. is going to beat me with a sapling when she finds out...

I might have more money than brains...

John, in your original post I'm assuming you meant a time improvement of up to .005. .05 would even make Zeebzob competitive in SS.
lol

I asked if he could do Mid America wheels, he said these wheels would not be the best as it would be hard to get weight down without taking off too much around hub.

Is this the same woman who was drawing circles around the track's feet with a Sharpie on your living room floor so she would know where to set the track up? I'm thinking you're safe.......

I guess it's all in how you look at things. I suppose you run the older wheels and be competitive with everyone else who will be finishing in the middle of the pack. If you don't buy the latest parts or you are not part of who's who in PWD racing you will be finishing well behind those who have access to the best parts!

If you have the other sets of wheels you can still run them and compete.

I agree. The wheel is just one part of it. Prep is a vastly larger part. There were a bunch of guys with the regular post 2009 wheels that were in the hunt too.
These wheels are more expensive because of the lack of supply and the extra work involved. You're gonna get good wheels from John no matter which ones you buy.

BTW...the Zeebzob cut...HAHAHAHAHA love it. This is why I didn't show the world these wheels until the Nationals.

C'mon Troy,

Don't make me say to you (of all people), "you gotta race to get faster."

well basx wheels went from 16 to 25 to 65..i just bought 3 sets of 25.00 now waste of money if these new wheels are 005 faster...

I respectfully disagree. You can give me the best parts and all of the racers you see to the left will beat me without them. You have to reach a certain level of proficiency before the new parts will be a factor.

That being said, I better get back to building instead of wasting bandwidth...

I stand corrected. You're in trouble mister!

That was my wife, oh and she told me this morning to order an extra set of wheels too, dang I love this woman!

When I get to .005 from the leaders I will worry about these wheels. I have too many other things to work out for now so I will pass on the new wheels.

Exactly right!!!

Well... I guess since the few times I've raced and finished at the back of the pack, you are right. Anyone with any version of wheels will beat me.

The only good thing I can see from all of this is that if there is really a limited amount of these pre 2009 wheels, everyone running them will have to switch back to the V4's at some point and the times will get a lot closer again.

Well, I am not within 0.005 seconds of the people 10 spots in front of me, much less the winners... I will save $40 per set of wheels for now.
