Wannabe rookie needs help with wheel/car prep for June!

Bracket racer , Sorry about that last post I don't know what happend ! Again , you will not be the only rookie there I have my first car coming also ! I started the build last Sunday at noon worked through the night . Monday morning at 6:30 headed to work ! While my buddy (GO) cut the box and shipped it for me ! ( what a friend ) last minute track set up my car ran a 2.445 on the 35' aluminum track ! I am looking for a sub3 badge on Saturday ! Good luck to you ! Maybe you and I can compete against each other ! I will be watching you ! After the race look me up !! I may just have a can of JIG laying around ! ;-)

Wow OTO, if it's turning 2.4's @ 35ft you should have no trouble getting the sub 3 badge I would think! I'm pretty sure I'm gonna get smoked in this first race but i needed to send in something to get a time I can compare to my own track. That should give me something to work with over the summer.
You'll probably need to find someone faster than me to compete against to make it a contest. I believe I'll be riding in Chief's draft! (sorry Chief!) Good luck to you also OTO!
I did buy some Jig, but it ran slower than what I was using! I must have done something wrong since it works for everybody else, so I reprepped with my old stuff before I shipped it out. I'll try again after I get it back and re-baseline it.
I saw there was more than 20 racers already pre-registered in the SS Scout class!! Should make for a great race! I can't wait!!
