Mojo is right. I would never do like you suggest and insult Lightning Boy or his X3 design. With Lightning Boy's prior approval, I copied his design and it has served me well. The words antiquated and inferior are yours, not mine. Should the full fender design prove to be needed to be competitive, I'm sure all the top racers will migrate to that design.
So telling someone their design is outdated and inferior is insulting? Yet you do so to Joe and his product on a regular basis. You don't find that telling of an agenda, and just a bit hypocritical ?
My opinion on any product is based on speed and results. If it is not fast enough to be competitive, I will not use or promote it. Can you say the same? I doubt it. You only push the wheel weights to spread bad information and promote your agenda. That agenda is to create confusion and convince people looking for advice to waste their hard earned money. And like most Twatwaffle's, your advice is baseless.
Please be so kind to point to the bad information I have spread.
You admitted you felt DWS fenders have an aero advantage. So I sure hope if anyone posts a thread asking about X3 fenders, that you quickly chime in with your honest opinion and inform them there are better fenders out there, and that many of the top racers are moving away from the X3 because they're just not fast enough any longer.
Yes I like wheel weights, and I'm aware they are not popular with the cult. But I also like Johns Gee fenders, and I don't see them on many cult member cars either, so what's your thoughts on them?...do you feel a racer could win a top level event using Gee fenders?..............yes I know, you're left in a conundrum aren't you ?
The wheel weights have been on the market for years. They had their 5 minutes of fame where everyone ran to buy them.
As a whole, the hobby has rejected the wheel weights. Not because I don't prefer them but because the wheel weight don't have the result to back up your baseless claims. Instead of crying foul, do something that will change everyone's opinion, win with them...
The hobby has rejected wheel weights? LOL....So a few dozen guys who get together constitute the hobby? You really need to step away from racing for awhile to realize just how idiotic you sound.
And again, please be so kind to point to my baseless claims.
I think even you will admit that a few years ago wheel weighted cars won their share of events. So please tell me what has changed in physics , or in the world of Pinewood Derby in the last few years, to now render them ineffective.
